approaches: skeleton plotting and correlation of tree-ring width measurements. Originally the collected specimen was crossdated with skeleton plotting by C.W. Ferguson in 1977, and archived at the LTRR. The specimen dates are between - 4470 and -4150. The specimen\u2019s surface has written dates (see photo below). For Miyake et al 2017 study we measured tree-ring widths for the interval -4470 to \u2013 4250 astronomical years (Year Zero included) and cut off a wood block near the measuring line. ID of TRW series is 77-201c. The series of measured tree-ring widths (221 yrs) was cross-dated with the Methuselah Walk chronology of Bristlecone Pine (INTRDB file ca535.rwl Span -6000-1979 submitted by D. A. Graybill). The dating was verified with Person correlation in COFECHA program. Correlation with master is 0.55.
